Hey! I'm Emma - and my favourite thing in the world is to help people find and unleash their inner artist. My second favourite thing is chocolate milk.
In December 2015 I set out to make some mildly offensive greeting cards as my new business venture, Black Chalk Collective. With no idea about Photoshop or Illustrator at the time, I figured I would have to create the designs by hand. Through this discovery process, I uncovered a hidden talent and passion for Brush Pen Lettering. My trial and error lessons were shared on Instagram, and in the space of 2 years my online following grew to over 100,000 pen friends. From there I became obsessed with pointed pen, chalk lettering, watercolour... you name it.
These days, my real passion is teaching other creatives that you don't need 8 years of design experience or a degree in visual arts to create beautiful art. All you need is patience, dedication and a helping hand (that's me!)
If you would like to pay with PayPal / debit card instead of credit, please use the PayPal app or website to send $50 AUD ( Australian dollars) to email@example.com using your preferred email to be enrolled in the class with. I will then manually enrol you once payment has been received.
You will also need a login / profile with my Online School, please create that so I can register you. If you've already taken an online class here before, you'll already have one.
Please allow some time for me to manually enrol you - I'll try my best to do it ASAP ...but I may be asleep if we're in different time zones!
Unfortunately, PayPal only works for courses in USD, so the process is a little trickier - but still possible :)
